Vets on Wheels is a small but dedicated team of a qualified Vet and other business support staff. As we grow, we will sign-up other Vets to offer our services across Melbourne.

Our Vet

Dr Aman Walia is our qualified Veterinary Surgeon. She is registered with Veterinary Practitioners Registration Board of Victoria.

Dr Aman holds a 5 year Bachelors Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc) and 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Avian Health.

Whilst Dr Aman works with Vets on Wheels, she also manages a soul-charge Veterinary surgery on part time basis. We encourage our Vets to have similar commitments to allow their professional development, means you get an experienced professional to look after your loved one.

So how does it work?

At Vets on Wheels, we practise ethical business. Our Vet will only visit you if they are in a position to improve your pet’s health. It is unethical for us to visit and charge you where we cannot make a difference to your pet’s condition.

When you contact us on our easy to remember phone number, 1300 VETS ON WHEELS (1300 838 766), you will be greeted by a qualified Vet. They will like to know your pet’s condition, your address and your flexibility with available appointments. Based on the information and urgency, the Vet either gives you an appointment that is best suited to you and your pet Or advise you to visit your nearest hospital.

In case you are greeted with an answering service, when the Vet is attending another appointment or if you are calling after hours, we request you to leave a message with your query and contact details (if possible also include an alternate phone number). Your call will be returned on the same day or following morning.

Please note, we are not an on-call or after hours emergency service.
